Visit to Maryland.

While my mom was still off work from her hysterectomy recovery, she and my dad decided they were going to make a trip out to Chesapeake Bay, Maryland to visit my dad's sister Kellie and her husband Gary. My Uncle Tim lives within an hour of there as well, so they would be able to see him as well. When I realized that Ryan would be spending the entire weekend doing all the framing in the basement (did I mention we're turning parts of our basement into a playroom and an office?) Kylan and I thought it'd be fun to tag along! And it certainly was.

After a long day of traveling in the car, no nap, dinner out, and getting acquainted with her new surroundings, Kylan did something she has never done before- fell asleep in my arms!

Didn't even wake up as I was talking with Uncle Tim.

My 7-year-old cousin Ellie got Kylan a book for Christmas called "Pinkalicious". In the story the little girl makes and eats pink cupcakes with pink icing. Uncle Tim brought the story to life by making and decorating pink cupcakes with Kylan!

We all enjoyed the end result!

Kylan played her first game of UNO (with Grandpa's help). She was surprisingly able to play well since she knows all her colors and knows numbers pretty well.

Apparently she thought the game was hilarious.
