This year was officially Kylan's first year to go around and Trick or Treat. Last year she was only 8 months old, so we decided against trying to carry her around to multiple houses saying "trick or treat" for her. We had dressed her in her duck costume and she helped us hand out candy here. This year was much different. She got all dressed up in her lion costume and fully embraced the trick-or-treating ritual. We walked from house to house around our neighborhood (with Nate & Trisha and Jess joining us) and she went to each door, said "trick or treat" (which actually comes out very clearly for a 1-and-a-half-year-old) then waited anxiously for her treat. When they'd hand it to her, she'd give them a little "roar", which was so cute, and would try to say "thank you" (which for some reason she still can't say very well yet). It was a great afternoon and a good first trick-or-treating experience!
Off she goes...
