We decided to take a day and make the trip up to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. We bought an Akron Zoo pass early on in the summer and have made multiple trips up there (well worth the money), but have never made it up to Cleveland. The pass allows us to get into many Ohio zoos for free, and most other zoos in the country for free or a discounted price. So we decided to take advantage of that and spend the day looking at their 3,000 animals. Here are a few of the MANY that we were able to snap some decent pictures of (and some of Kylan):
Ready to go...

Donkey.

Hippo.

Kangaroo jumping away.

Gorilla.

Red Panda.

Spider monkeys.

More monkeys.

Lunch time.

Riding the elephant @ the playground.

Koala.

Orangutan.

Baby and Mommy orangutans playing.

Playing peek-a-boo through the window with an orangutan.

Giraffes.

Grizzly bear.

Sloth bear.

Tiger.

Rhino.

It was a long day, but a great day. Kylan was extremely excited about almost every animal we saw and I would like to believe she was well educated about the animal kingdom by our trip.
