Overview.

We've apparently been busier than normal, seeing as it's been since August 9th that I've been able to update anything.  As an overview, from August 9th until now, we have (not that you even really care):

-had and been to a couple cookouts
-had friends over for an evening of Dave Seymour's homemade "zah"
-spent time with Ra before she left for school
-went to the Annis' pool each week
-celebrated Kody's birthday with Jen, Kody and some of their friends
-had family friends (the Kees family) in town staying with my parents for 5 days which meant volleyball games, trips to the park, game night, corn hole, picnics, etc over the course of those 5 days
-gone to my grandfather's wedding in Wheeling, WV and saw most of my family on my Dad's side
-had a RiverTree youth group reunion at the Mauser's
-watched a LOT of Olympics with people
-spent an evening over at the Hilliard's house with friends when our friend Adam came into town
-went to lots of garage sales (gotta hit them up before the summer's gone)
-spent an evening over at Derek and Kelly Myers'  visiting with Kevin Pike before he moves to North Carolina
-and spent an evening up at the Cheesecake Factory in Legacy Village celebrating Trisha's birthday yesterday, followed by going bowling with some of her friends to end the celebratory event.

Between all of this, we had something here, or went somewhere different almost every evening of the month.  We finally just took today and relaxed here at home and made Sunday what it's supposed to be- the Sabbath.    We're watching the closing ceremonies of the Olympics as we speak and hoping that without 7-8 hours of Olympics to skim through (and some parts fully watch) each day, we'll get back to earlier bedtimes and give us one less thing to do each day.
