Anybody that knows Kylan knows that she has hair- and lots of it. This has been the case since birth. The first comment we always got (and still do get) is "Wow, look at all that hair!" So I thought I'd take you briefly (ok, or not so briefly) through the many stages of Kylan's hair:
First week in this world: dark and spiky.

After-bath hair. Looks like she stuck her finger right in a light socket, but I swear this is just what happened after every bath without us even touching it!

2 1/2 months: Longer, but more of a mohawk now than the all-over spikes that used to be. This is the stage where no combing, spraying, gel-ing, NOTHING would make her hair lay down. It had a mind of it's own.

3 months: Getting lighter. Turning redish instead of the dark brown it had always been.

Still 3 months: Still crazy hair (and crazy eyes apparently!)

4 months: Boating hair. This is Kylan's sun-kissed, crazy, sunscreen-filled hair after her first boating trip!

First attempt at pigtails!

Bathtub hair.

Finally starting to lay down a little bit!

5 months: Now this is what we call bed-head.

6 months: The shirt says it all.
7 months: The start of long and flowing locks.

8 months: Very blonde by this point.

The introduction of the hair clip.

Longer pigtails!

Face-framing, long locks.

9 months: Baby powder in the hair = mohawk forming agent.

10 months: The side ponytail.

Flat, wet, bathtime hair that reaches all the way down her back.

11 months: The ponytail!

1 year: The bow.

Freshly-combed, after-bath hair.
