Each year North Canton has a tree lighting "ceremony" in the front yard of the Hoover Company. There is a massive Christmas tree that is put up around Thanksgiving, and then on an evening in early December they block off the streets around the Hoover Company/City Hall/Fire Station. Choirs sing, there's hot chocolate and cookies, they bring in reindeer, Santa rides in on a fire engine, and at the end a switch is flipped and the huge tree lights up. I've never gone before, but we thought it might be fun to do with Kylan this year, so we bundled up and headed out.
All set and ready!

Cookie!

After getting our hot chocolate & cookies, and visiting with the reindeer for a bit, we realized we had almost an hour until the singing, Santa, and the tree lighting happened. It was really, really cold, so we decided to head back to our house for a bit and just let Kylan run around in the basement until it was time to head back out. In the middle of playing, she asked Daddy to play some Christmas songs on his guitar. Hence the video you will see.
After our little play time/sing-a-long time, we headed back out to join the festivities.
