Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! Today was our 3rd wedding anniversary. Ryan took the day off work so we were able to sleep in, and then spend the afternoon as a family up at the Akron Zoo (before sending Kylan off to Nate and Trisha and spending an evening together). Kylan had a great time (as did we!) and we had a great afternoon together. We really did see a lion, a tiger, and 2 bears- along with penguins, llamas, goats, ducks, lemurs, jelly fish, a jaguar, 2 snow leopards, bats, snakes, big turtles, etc. Even though Akron Zoo is smaller than the Cleveland Zoo, it certainly still has many fun animals, is a great facility, and is a much shorter drive.
We bought a family pass for the year, so we're hoping to have many more fun trips in the future!
