Words.

There are many more words coming out of Kylan's mouth these days. The ones I've just recently heard include:
- car
- again
- boat
- uh-oh
- Dora
- bubble
- grandma/grandpa (though it really sounds like "mehmeh" and "baba", but she's getting there!)
- Papa (that's what she calls Ryan's dad)
- hot
- hi

The cool thing is, she not only just can say them, but she completely understands what they mean and/or represent. For example, when she wants to blow bubbles, she says the word. Even when she just sees the place where we last blew bubbles together she says the word because she remembers. Or just this morning she went and got the TV remote, ran over to me with it, and said "Dora!" as she handed the remote to me. I said, "Kylan, would you like to watch Dora?" and she emphatically shook her head and said "Yeah!" And we've taught her that certain things are hot, and she has learned to stay away. When she sees a candle she points and says "hot" and shakes her head "no" since she knows its a no no. When she sees a mug, whether she can see if anything in it is hot or not she points and says "hot" to that also and knows not to touch it. I have always been able to tell that she understands what's being said and what's going on, but now she can put some words to those understandings sometimes and I love that.

There are also some less intelligible words that she's trying to say, but can't quite get:
- thank you
- squirrel
- Trisha
- ladybug
